While I sewed I thought of the poem The Highwayman, which was my moms' favorite. It goes, "The moon was a ghostly galleon, tossed upon cloudy seas...". So, I made the moon ghostly.

Old Black Crow, number 238. I made this today, after making the background last night. It kept me awake, thinking of how to do the crow. I made this for an ugly fabric challenge, for The Quilting Season shop, in Saline.
