Another hangy thing, this one for a friend. I wonder if this will turn into a fascination, like the banners???

This is my big mural project. It isn't finished yet, but the main parts are done. I will add stars, and refine the birds and dog.

A few more necklaces in the Santa Fe style.

A new project, inspired by Cloth, Paper Scissors magazine. Fun, and good way to use scraps.

Try to imagine it hanging from my hand, I couldn't rotatae it on this computer.

Our trip to Santa Fe was inspirational. I made 4 new necklaces similar to those I saw in Santa Fe galleries. I had all the beads, but had to buy the silver.

This is the table I painted for the Habitat for Humanity auction, on October 20 at Restore in Ann Arbor. It was fun, I'd like to do more. I got to paint it, but I don't have to decide where to put it. Maybe next time I'll do a chair.

These two are embellished now. I started the Christmas ones yesterday.

I bruised my thumb pulling the needle through the banner, so I have to take a day off. Click on the pix to enlarge.

The November banners, a couple need embellishing. Seems like I can't stop. Every time I get one done, I make another, just to have something to play with.

Oh no! The banner fever struck me again. I have 3 harvest banners done, and another on the way. Will post pix tomorrow. This could seriously use up my stash, yahoo! It's only about 1/2 yard for each back, and maybe 3/4 for the fronts, but it's using fabric, a good thing.

If you click on the picture, it enlarges for a closer view.
So far I only embellished one of them, but I think they all need beads and buttons, and embroidery of course.

Hallowe'en banners! I went a little nuts with this. It's quick and easy, so I made 10 of them.

This is exciting! One of my quilts in the Michigan Quilt Artists Invitational show sold. The quilt is Dragons in the Deep Down Under, and can be seen on my website, http://www.katcampau.com/. The theme of the show was Australia. The quilt is embellished with many beads, netting, colored pencil and glitter paint. It was a lot of fun to make, and led to the next one I entered, Coral Nebula, also visible on my website.

I just found out a train derailed by my summer house. Eek! I'm so glad we weren't there, because we usually take the grandkids out to watch and wave.

Pink Sunflowers, another new one. Also on display at Keller Williams Realty in Ann Arbor, Mi.

The quilt is straight, the picture isn't. I think I'll like blogging, it's pretty easy. This is kind of a diary that's public, huh?

I saw the SAQA show tonight in Ferndale. It had many good pieces. I especially liked the most textured ones. Both my husband and I chose pieces with a lot of copper color as our favorites.

Fish with Flowers, a new quilt. I made this last winter, and finally quilted it. Now on display at Keller Williams Realty in Ann Arbor, Michigan
