Today I started planning summer. The end of winter is in sight, we survived January. I can't imagine doing that 100 years ago. And that was civilized compared to 150 years ago. Ricks' family were voyageurs, living off the land, and trapping animals for fur. We would have needed to wear all the furs we could get this winter. I love quilts, sweaters, insulation, and furnaces.
