Felt Panel, number 180. This isn't finished yet, but I worked on it in the car, and on vacation. It has about 5000 embroidery stitches on it. I first felted wool and silk roving onto a piece of felt. I added bits of silk dupioni, yarn, a mesh potato bag, and random fibers onto it. Then I added batting and a back, and did a little machine stitching to stabilize it. Next I started hand embroidery, a lot of it. Then I sewed on a few beads and sequins. Now I have to decide how to finish it off.

I looked at this and "Under the Sea" from The Little Mermaid is stuck in my head.
Finishing off is over-rated. I think it is finished off, very cool!
