The ruby glass is transparent. I added a few details before the faces were fused.

The faces are fused. They are about 8" by 11".

I took a fused glass class today at Sue Hubbards' studio. This is the first face I made. It's 8" wide, and will be in a stand when fused.

This is the second face. It will be in a stand too.

Guadalupe 2 is nearly done, just needs a fringe of beads.

This is a busy week for me. I have only some ATCs to show, nothing else is done. I will embroider on these, and add some beads before I trade them. I also made some fabric book pages for a trade, but they are plain, so I'll show you after the trade.

All the glass is glued on, will grout it when it's dry. This is a much truer color picture.

A flower mosaic, will grout tomorrow. Deb came over, and we played with mosaics until 9 p.m. It was a very fun day.

This is the other ATC holder I made last month. Just got a picture of it.

The frame is painted. I learned that the burning should be a bit deeper line before painting, to help separate the colors. Or you have to be a careful painter, I'm not. It was a fun project. Now I need a mirror.

This is a new project. It's a woodburned frame. My sister Connie made one, and I had to make my own. Now I have to paint it, will show you later.

Sunflower is done too. I like the dark green grout on this. Guess I have to buy dark brown.

The rooster 3 is grouted. I was hoping the grout would look darker, but it's done.

The turquoise purse. Got the yarn for this in Illinois last weekend. Just took out of the washer, it still needs a button.

A small purse, I just put on the button. This was done Thursday, I have another one in the washer right now.

Okay, I am hooked on mosaics. I got the tools, and Deb and I are going to town! We are armed and ready, with scraps of glass from my sister to start with. I will post pix asap.

This weekend I went to the International Quilt Festival in Chicago, with my good friend Deb. We made mosaics at my sisters' house. This is the one I made for my sister Connie. It's my second Rooster.

I just got home from ATC club. I finished this while we talked. It's a banner for July.

This is my briefcase. I made the bag a long time ago, but just put on the handles and button flap. It's about briefcase size.
